The American Council on Education (ACE) is a national organization dedicated to increasing access and quality in American higher education. One of ACE's goals is to advance women to executive positions in US colleges and universities. The NJIT ACE Network chapter works closely with the Murray Center and the NJIT Committee on Women's Issues to achieve this goal.

Following the ACE Network principles of Identifying, Developing, Encouraging, Advancing, Linking and Supporting women, NJIT ACE offers an annual welcome breakfast
for new women faculty and staff and sponsors speakers and brown bag lunches throughout the year. Chapter events are open to all campus community members.
