- and much more...
This program is currently run by the Murray Center - every semester there are a new batch of Ambassadors to welcome students to life at NJIT. Cilck here to access the profiles for this semester's Ambassadors!
The Murray Center Ambassadors are a team of undergraduate women students representing various majors who organize and participate in outreach, leadership, and community projects. The Ambassadors also help showcase career development experiences for NJIT women students. The program itself is run and kept alive by the enthusiasm and unique ideas of the Ambassadors.
The Ambassadors especially focus on providing support for the first year women students transitioning from high school to NJIT. Ambassadors act as role models that organize and participate in opportunities for first year women students to increase their academic and professional networks within NJIT.
The Murray Center provides the Ambassadors with skills development, leadership training, an annual budget, campus resources and support. The Ambassador Program is overseen and facilitated by the Murray Center Assistant Director, Ms. Talina Knox.
The Murray Center recruits Ambassadors each semester! Would you like to be an Ambassador? If you have any interest in being a Ambassador or would like to recommend a student to the Ambassador program or know someone who would like to be an Ambassador, please feel free to contact Ms. Talina Knox at 973-642-4671 or send an e-mail to Ms. Knox directly at knoxt@njit.edu.
