My Major: Biology/7-year accelerated

My hobbies/interests: Reading, singing, meditating, going out to eat, and having a lot of fun!!

My favorite movie: Shakespeare in Love and almost all Disney movies

Why I came to NJIT: I came to NJIT because it offered me an acceptance into a medical program that I really wanted. Along with a great academic program, I came here because of the close-knit community at NJIT. I went to a very small high school and absolutely adored knowing everyone, and I wanted the same when I came to college. An excellent education with a small, cozy environment.

Clubs, groups I belong to: Murray Center Ambassadors, Honors College, Honors Council – Sophomore Representative, and Biology Society.

What I love most about NJIT: Students at NJIT are very open and friendly, you don’t have to feel conscious about everything; NJIT allows you to be who you are.

My advice to you as a first year student: Have fun!! You will always remember it. Academics is always important, however, you will only have your first year in college once, and so make it completely worth while!!
