Why I came to NJIT:  It’s a small school that didn’t cost too much!

Clubs, groups I belong to: Caribbean Student Organization, Society for the Advancement of Management, National Art Honors Society, Engineers without Borders

What I love most about NJIT: The small classes and the fact that by the time you graduate you can know most of your college and be friends with people all over the campus.

My advice to you as a first year student: Make as many friends as you can, especially you major field, these are the people you will see over and over again in your classes and the peers that will be working with you in groups. Get involved in activities on and off campus and make sure that you work hard right from the beginning. You’ll find that the people you live with will be your best friends.
