ACE Network
The American Council on Education (ACE) is a national organization dedicated to increasing access and quality in American higher education. One of ACE's goals is to advance women to executive positions in US colleges and universities. The NJIT ACE Network chapter works closely with the Murray Center and the NJIT Committee on Women's Issues to achieve this goal.
Following the ACE Network principles of Identifying, Developing, Encouraging, Advancing, Linking and Supporting women, NJIT ACE offers an annual welcome breakfast for new women faculty and staff and sponsors speakers and brown bag lunches throughout the year. Chapter events are open to all campus community members. At the Spring 2007 ACE networking luncheon, NJIT women faculty and staff raised more than $800/- for women's scholarships.NJIT ACE was recently honored with the New Jersey ACE Network’s Outstanding Chapter award. If you are interested in learning more about ACE Network or participating in scheduled events, please contact Dean Conrad at 973-596-3293 (conrad@njit.edu).
