Programs For Graduate Women Students

The Murray Center provides resources and support structures that help NJIT's women graduate students succeed, in their academic careers and, ultimately, in the workplace.

In collaboration with NJIT ADVANCE, the graduate section of the Society of Women Engineers, the Office of Graduate Studies, the Graduate Student Association, and the Office of the Provost the Murray Center invites women graduate students to attend a series of special workshops that…

  • offer strategies for conducting, funding, and disseminating scientific research;
  • discuss opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, including cross-sector collaboration with industry;
  • explore the advantages of a career in academia; and
  • provide resources and models for achieving a healthy work-life balance.
